Dr. Stephen Becker

Dr. Stephen Becker was born in Livingston, New Jersey but grew up on Long Island. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Albany before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from The National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL. He has also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.

Dr. Becker completed his internship at the Chicago General Health Center in Chicago, IL. There he worked firsthand with some of the nation's foremost physicians in the fields of radiology, orthopedics, neurology, and rehabilitation. Dr. Becker built one of the largest chiropractic wellness centers in the heart of New York City. After his three children were born, he moved his practice to the suburbs of Northern New Jersey to be closer to his three children.

Dr. Becker takes a holistic approach to treatment, and in addition to chiropractic and physical therapy, he develops personalized programs to support patients’Äô health, including weight training, aerobic activities, and nutritional counseling for his patients. Dr. Becker has introduced Graston^® technique which releases fascial adhesions and non-surgical spinal decompression utilizing the Drx9000^® into his practice. The Becker Spine and Sports Institute also utilizes massage, acupuncture and traditional medical care when appropriate.

The Becker Spine and Sports Institute was developed by Dr. Becker as a facility for people of all ages, dedicated to the treatment of pain and its underlying causes.
